We were blown away by the hospitality of our hosts.

We were blown away by the hospitality of our hosts. It felt like we were staying with family. Their house is a loving restoration of a 200 year old villa by the architect owners, there are mulitiple places on the property to sit and eat and enjoy the spectacular views of Toledo from a distance and the immaculate little pool an absolute necessity after a day of touring in the hot dry sun… We felt like we were having a true unique cultural experience.

Our hosts came with 2 cars and car seats to meet our family at the train station (and dropped us off at 6 am too), we were stunned. They called taxis for us whenever we needed one (since we don’t speak spanish). There was coffee, tea, water, milk, fruit, pasteries and cookies in the pantry which we so appreciated.
